Chandrayaan-3 successfully launched by ISRO at Sriharikota, Andhra

Sriharikota: The launch process of Chandrayaan-3, the mission of India’s ambition to land a spacecraft on the lunar surface and carry out studies, was successfully completed on Friday afternoon at the Satish Dhawan Launch Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

The Baahubali Mark 3 rocket carrying Lander (Vikram) and Rover (Pragyana) blasted off at 02:35 PM on Friday.

Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has entered the scheduled orbit, and ISRO scientists have expressed their happiness.

As soon as the vehicle carrying the lander and rover machines jumped into the sky, the ISRO scientists were happy.

The journey takes 40 days. The spacecraft is expected to reach the lunar surface on August 23 or 24.

The Chandrayaan-2 program that was undertaken in 2019 failed at the last moment. So this time scientists are going to focus on soft landing. Landing the lander on the moon without any damage is called soft landing.

July 14, 2023 will be recorded in golden letters in India’s space research field. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Chandrayaan-3 project by tweeting that our wonderful project of Chandrayaan will carry the hopes and dreams of Indians.
