Bengaluru: A 26-year-old female techie was found dead by hanging in her home at Abbigere Lakshmaiya Layout under Gangamanagudi Police Station on July 4.
The deceased, identified as Pooja, had been married to Sunil for a year. Both worked as software engineers in a private firm in the city. Pooja took her life when no one was at home.
Pooja’s mother has filed a complaint with the Gangamanagudi police station, alleging that her daughter’s suicide was due to dowry harassment.
Police have visited the scene, registered a case, and are conducting an investigation.
