Is the XBB.1.16 Variant Dangerous?
XBB belongs to the Omicron Family and has the highest infection rate. It is far more aggressive and probably faster than any other variant.

Anticipated symptoms in patients are Fever, Soar throat, Cold, Headache, and Body aches.

XBB.1.16 is a Lineage with 3 New Spike Mutations. The sub-variant rapidly spreads and exhibits additional nucleotide and amino acid changes.

The state government claims that several individuals have not taken covid doses. Secretary of Ministry Rajesh Bhujan has ordered doctors to conduct Anti-Covid drills at Health care facilities.
