New Delhi: Stepping in the matter Covid management after the number of cases crossing 3 lakh per day, the Supreme Court has took a suo motu cognisance of prevailing Covid situation and has directed the Central Government submit a detailed pan India plan on the management of pandemic.
The SC issued notice to the Centre on Thursday where it has sought details on matters such as supply of oxygen supply, essential drugs and steps taken to vaccinate people.
The SC said that it wishes to see as what is the national plan the government has prepared on this matter. The apex court will take up the matter for hearing again on Friday.
The SC said that they want to know on matters such as supply of oxygen, supply of essential drugs, method of vaccination said the Chief Justice, S. A. Bobade.
The CJI said that the court wishes to take suo motu cognisance of certain issues.
