Bengaluru: BJP MLA Muniratna has been arrested once again, this time in connection with a rape case.
Just a day after being released on conditional bail from Parappana Agrahara Jail, where he was held over a caste slur case, Muniratna was taken into custody by officers from Kaggalipura Police Station in Ramnagar district.
According to reports, Muniratna’s lawyer had submitted the bail order to jail authorities, and after completing the formalities, police swiftly arrested him. Ramnagar police had been stationed near the jail since Thursday night, awaiting his release to make the arrest.
