Protest erupted across India against Controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammed during a television debate by the BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
BJP General Secretary Arun Singh said in a statement that the party is strongly against any ideology which insults or demeans any sect or religion.
Communal Clashes occurred in Kanpur during a protest against Nupur Sharma’s remark. More than 36 members of the Minority community were arrested by the Kanpur Police.
