A minor girl’s suicide case in Chikkamagaluru district took a drastic turn when police recovered her suicide note, in which she accused a BJP worker.
The victim has been identified as a 17-year-old PUC student. She passed away in the hospital on Saturday.
In her suicide note, she alleged that 25-year-old Hitesh, a BJP worker, pretended to be in love but cheated on her. The girl also accused him of harassment.
Only after the SP’s assistance was a complaint made against the accused. The parents urged the police to file a case against the accused under the terms of the POCSO. The parents have also criticised the police for not arresting the ‘culprit’ yet.
