Cruise-Ship Drug Case: NCB raids Film Producer Imtiyaz Khatri’s Residence, Office in Mumbai

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday is conducting raids at the residence and office of film producer Imtiyaz Khatri in Mumbai so Bandra in connection with the Cruise ship raid case.

Mumbai’s Esplanade court on Friday had rejected the bail plea of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha, in the case related to the seizure of drugs following a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

On Friday, NCB, Mumbai zone Director Sameer Wankhede said that the NCB and the prosecution will strive to take the cruise ship raid case to reach a logical conclusion.

“We and persecution will attempt to take the case to a logical conclusion. Our case is strong and will be presented in the sessions court,” the NCB officer said.

On the night of October 2, the NCB team busted an alleged drugs party in the guise of the Cordelia Cruise ship which was on its way to Goa mid-sea.

18 people, including a Nigerian national, have been arrested till now in the case related to the seizure of drugs following a raid at a party on a cruise ship.
