Yadgir: As many as five women agriculture labours have died in the road accident while five others sustained grievous injuries at M.Kollur village of Shahapur taluk in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police, the victims who are native of Manamutagi village were travelling in a diesel auto which had head on collision with a tractor.
The deceased have been identified as Sharanamma (40), Ayamma (60) , Kasimbee ((40) , Bhimbai (40) and Devendramma (70) .
The police said that the victims were agriculture labours. Those who injured in the accident, have been shifted to Shahapur government hospital. The condition of two is said to be critical.
Shahapur police has registered a case .
