Karnataka Board Reduces Writing Time for 2nd PU Final Exams by 15 Minutes

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Board of School Examinations and Valuation has announced a significant change for the upcoming second PU Final Examination, reducing the writing time by 15 minutes.

Starting this academic year, students will now have 2 hours and 45 minutes, instead of 3 hours, to complete their written exams for papers with a maximum of 70/80 marks.

However, students will still spend 3 hours in the exam hall, as an additional 15 minutes will be allotted for reading the question paper. The duration for answering NSQF and Hindustani Music papers, worth 60/40 marks, remains unchanged at 2 hours and 30 minutes.
