Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government’s Department of Collegiate Education has issued recruitment orders to candidates selected for assistant professor positions in government first-class colleges. Candidates are required to report for duty within 15 days of receiving their orders.
A gazette notification released on Thursday confirmed the direct recruitment to fill vacancies in various subjects. The final selection list, published on November 3, 2023, faced delays due to legal challenges.
Candidates must report to the Department of Collegiate Education at Tantrika Bhawan, Bengaluru, where a counseling process based on seniority will determine their placements. Salary and allowances will begin from the reporting date. Failure to report within the specified time will result in the automatic cancellation of their appointment.
