NEET PG postponed; to be held on August 11 in two shifts

The entrance examination of NEET-PG will now be held on August 11 in two shifts. It has been announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) today. Around 2 lakh MBBS graduates take part in NEET PG every year for around 52,000 post graduation seats across the country.

After the NEET UG controversy, the NBEMS postponed the exam as the board wanted to make sure that this time there is no vulnerability involved in the examination process.

The board issued the notice which read, “In continuation of NBEMS notice dated 22.06.2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 has been rescheduled. The NEET-PG shall now be conducted on 11th August 2024 in two shifts. The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET-PG 2024 shall continue to be 15th August 2024.”
