As India celebrates ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, more than 100 million Indian children between 3-6 age, are still not getting education. This was highlighted in a first of its kind study commissioned by Save the Children India –Bal Raksha Bharat, and carried out by Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA). The study says the government should set aside 2.5% of the GDP to ensure that all children enjoy an early childhood education.
