Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24 is an initiative of the H T Parekh Foundation that aims to help high-performing students from lesser-privileged backgrounds overcome financial barriers and successfully pursue their education.
This scholarship not only supports students facing economic crises but also aims to provide additional assistance such as mentorship and access to career counseling programs in the future. The scholarship fund is specifically dedicated to covering various academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, learning devices or aids, books, stationery, and more.
The Foundation works in partnership with non-profit organizations across India in the focus areas of Education, Healthcare, Environment, and Disability.
This Scholarship is open for online applications. The last date to apply is on November 20, 2023.
Badhte Kadam Scholarship for General Graduation Students 2023-24
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to students who have completed Class 12 and are currently pursuing general graduation courses such as BCom, BSc, BA, etc. from recognized colleges or universities in India.
- Applicants must have scored at least 70% marks in their previous class or board exams.
- The annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6 lakh from all sources.
- Students from India are eligible to apply.
Note:
Preference will be given to girl students and existing Badhte Kadam scholars for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23.
Priority will be given to students experiencing crises, such as the loss of a parent/both parents or a terminal illness in the family.
Benefits:
The Scholarship amount received ranging up to INR 30,000
Badhte Kadam Scholarship for Professional Graduation 2023-2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to students who have completed Class 12 and are currently pursuing professional graduation courses such as B.Tech., MBBS, B.Arch, Nursing, BA-LLB, Fashion, BBA, BCA, etc. from recognized colleges or universities in India.
- Applicants must have scored at least 70% marks in their previous class or board exams.
- The annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6 lakh from all sources.
- Students from India are eligible to apply.
Note:
Preference will be given to girl students and existing Badhte Kadam scholars for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23.

Benefits:
The Scholarship amount received ranging up to INR 1,00,000
Badhte Kadam Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2023-2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open for students with disabilities, having a disability level of more than 40%, and a valid disability certificate.
- Students must be pursuing general or professional graduation courses from recognized colleges/universities in India.
- Applicants must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- The annual family income of applicants should be below INR 6 lakh from all sources.
- Students from India are eligible to apply.
