SSLC Exam Results to be Released on May 8th?

According to sources, the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board have announced that the results for the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination will be declared on May 8th. The announcement comes following the completion of the evaluation process for answer sheets.

Conducted across 2,750 centers statewide from March 25th to April 6th, this year’s SSLC examinations witnessed the participation of a staggering 8.69 lakh students. Among them were 4.41 lakh boys and 4.28 lakh girls, illustrating a balanced representation across genders.

In a first for SSLC, three exams have been introduced this year, with the second exam slated to commence in the third week of May. This innovation provides students with an opportunity to enhance their scores by allowing them to appear for the remaining two exams and choose the best three exam marks among those they’ve secured.

The board has assured that the evaluation of all papers will be completed by May 6th, paving the way for the timely announcement of results. Notably, the decision to declare the results on May 8th, a day after the Lok Sabha election scheduled for May 7th, was made to ensure a focused release and avoid any potential overlap with election activities.
