Aziz Qureshi, former governor of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Mizoram on Wednesday said that AIMIM is the B team of BJP, ‘it is not a secular party, Owaisi does whatever work benefits BJP. ‘
Addressing the media, at Old Boys Lodge of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in Uttar Pradesh, Qureshi said, “AIMIM is the B team of BJP, it is not a secular party. Owaisi does whatever work benefits BJP.”
To get Muslim votes in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh elections, all the political parties are engaged. Where on the one hand, AIMIM keeps getting accused that it is the B-team of BJP.
“Democracy is ending in the country. Democracy is being murdered, to save it, all the secular forces should gather on one platform and together they should end this Ravana Raj,” the former UP governor said.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi also released a statement, saying that AIMIM is the B team of Samajwadi Party.
Aziz Qureshi said, “My purpose of coming here, is to save the rule of demons in which Jamhooriyat is being killed. Therefore, all secular parties should fight together to defeat BJP in the 2022 election. I want and am also trying to come together on one platform for all secular parties to end Ravana Raj.”
After the repeal of three farm laws, Aziz Qureshi, responding to the question of withdrawing the CAA said, “The government should also withdraw the CAA as it is against the Constitution. Democracy has been murdered in this. In this, Muslims have been kept separate in CAA, which has killed democracy, so the government should take it back as well.”
On Monday evening, Aziz Qureshi held a press conference at the residence of Congress leader Mutiur Rehman Khan Bablu. He had said that all political parties should come together against the BJP for the assembly elections in UP.
Despite being a Congress leader, had said that this time the SP government will be formed in Uttar Pradesh. “Priyanka Gandhi has breathed life in Congress, but due to less time in the assembly elections, she will not be able to get votes to form the government.”
Describing AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi as a BJP agent, he said, “Owaisi is limited only to divide the votes.”
