Washington: US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden was indicted on Thursday in the case of illegally buying a gun five years ago.
A second indictment alleges that Hunter falsely stated that he was not using drugs at the time he purchased the Colt revolver in Delaware.
Hunter faces a third charge of illegal possession of a firearm based on false statements. Sources said this could land him in jail for up to 10 years.
Justice Department Special Council David Weiss, who has been investigating the Hunter Biden case since 2018, filed the indictment.
