India won the inaugural U19 Women’s World Cup, by beating England on Sunday. India bowled out the England tea for a mere 68 runs and went on to clinch the first-ever U19 Women’s World Cup trophy by seven wickets in South Africa.
BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah took to Twitter to announce a whopping 5 crore cash prize for the winning team.
India Women’s U19 captain Shefali Verma was also invited for a celebration in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
