Salman Khan continues to aid 25K cine daily wage workers with monetary benefits

The novel corona virus, which has been the grave issue for the mankind in past year and a half is bothering Bollywood cine workers too who found themselves to be unemployed in the wake of the pandemic and the resulting lockdown. In India, the second wave of covid has caused more danger and loss than the first.

Many entrepreneurs, associations, and film stars of Indian cinema stood by the poor folks during the pandemic. Salman Khan was one such renowned actor.
Bollywood Box Office Sultan, Salman Khan, has announced that twenty-five thousand Bollywood cinema workers would get 1,500 Rs each to their accounts as they live the lives of misery without work. The total amount accounts to three and a half crores Indian rupees.
Salman Khan’s team earlier contacted Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) to get the bank account details of the daily wage workers registered with the federation and he credited 1500 Rs to each account. The actor will continue to credit Rs 1,500 to the bank account of each daily wage cine worker. He is also involved in the humanitarian work of providing food grain kits to the poor, needy families.
BN Tiwari, President of Federation of Western India Cine Employees said in a statement. “Salman Khan is one of the large-hearted actors of Bollywood who has continued to help us whenever we need any support. He had helped our members in the first lockdown too we are grateful to him. He has told us that he will continue to help our workers in the future too”.
