Vegetarian Crocodile Babiya died today. Babiya is the guardian of the Ananthapura Lake Temple, which is located in the village of the same name in Kerala’s Kasaragod District. According to local people, Babiya only eats temple prasad, which is served every day after the deity’s noon worship.
The devotees feed the crocodile with their hand’s vegetarian prasad, which consists of cooked rice and jaggery.
