After a 14 year tenure, Meta COO to leave

Sheryl Sandberg who has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Meta has decided to quit the giant social Media Network. She made her announcement on Wednesday through a Facebook post.
Sandberg had played an important part in Meta’s (earlier Facebook) growth in its formative years and had helped build it into a global giant social media network. She will be leaving her post in the coming fall.

She is regarded as one amongst the most influential women in the Silicon Valley and second most important person after Mark Zuckerberg at the Meta platform.

She will remain on the Board of Directors team. She now plans to focus her work on her foundation and continue her philanthropic activities.
Sandberg will be replaced by Javier Olivian, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced through a Facebook post.
