After the unity of the opposition parties, Mamata burst out: Slamming against Communist Party of India (CPM), Congress

New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday lashed out at the Congress and the CPM even before the opposition decided to fight together against the BJP. Both these parties are dancing to the beat of the BJP in the state. “I will break this unwanted bond”, she said angrily.

The Congress and the CPM criticized that the Trinamool Congress, which talks about saving democracy in the country, is working against it in the Mamata-ruled state. Mamata gave a sharp response to this in the panchayat election rally of Cooch Behar.

On the same occasion, Congress accused the CPM and said, ‘In the government led by the Left Party in Kerala, the state Congress President is arrested. It quoted party leader Rahul Gandhi’s tweet about K.Sudhakaran’s arrest saying he was ‘not afraid of the politics of intimidation’.

While Congress and CPM have an alliance in West Bengal, both parties are rivals in Kerala.
