BIJAPUR; 03 Feb: Taking exception to the statement to the reported statement of Former Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah that the JD(S) is not a political party, Former Chief Minister and JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy has challenged the former to float his own political party if he has guts.
Speaking to press persons here, Kumaraswamy said if Siddaramaiah is politically so powerful, then let him come out of Congress and establish his own party.
“ I also challenge him to win at least four seats in the upcoming assembly elections with his own party”, he remarked.
Stating that Siddaramaiah does not have his own power, he said that he makes statements against other parties by taking refuge in the Congress.
“ He has no moral right to speak against the JD(S) party. I will give him a befitting reply in the coming days”, Kumaraswamy declared.
Commenting on the JD(S) future, Kumaraswamy said that, “I have already chalked out plans for the coming Zilla and Taluka panchayat and assembly elections. With a couple of years left for the assembly polls, I have decided to give maximum time for the districts of North Karnataka. In the coming days the party ceremonies, rallies and other functions will be held in all the districts of this region.”
“I have aimed to strengthen the party base at the grassroot levels before the announcement of assembly elections in this region. We will try to reach out to the people as much as possible and urge them to support JD(S) and help to win maximum seats in the areas of North Karnataka. I will put maximum efforts to give a tough fight for national parties BJP and Congress in the coming polls,” added Kumaraswamy.
