He said that now CM may be regretting for the decision after Yatnal openly criticizing BSY
BIJAPUR; 15 Jan: Taking jibe at BJP MLA, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, Former Union Minister and MP, Ramesh Jigajinagi has said that he had urged the Chief Minister, B. S. Yediyurappa, in the past only not to take Yatnal into the party again, but Yediyurappa took his own decision and reinducted Yatnal into the party.
“ Today, I believe Yediyurappa may be regretting for his decision”, he said.
Addressing media persons on Friday, he said that before the last assembly polls itself, he had met Yediyurappa in the airport where he had appealed him not to take Yatnal in the part again as he would create problem.
Without mentioning the name of Yatnal who has raised the flag of revolt against Yediyurappa and has been openly criticizing him, Jigajinagi said that people will him (Yatnal) insane if he keeps shouting in public out of frustration for not getting inducted into the cabinet.
“ If anyone has any issues with the party or any leader, then they should discuss the matter in the party forum and not talk loosely in the public against the leaders”, he said.
He said that even he too had become Minister in the first term of Modi government “however I was not made Minister in the second term, I did not disappoint as I accepted the decision of the party high command. I did not keep talking ill against the party leaders out of anger when I was not made Minister”, he said.
Stating that Yediyurappa is the senior leader of the party and all of them have great respect for him, he said what Yatnal is doing is just unacceptable for the party, he remarked.
With regard to allegation of Yatnal that one of the MLAs has become Minister in the recent cabinet expiation by blackmailing the CM with some CD, Jigajinagi refused to comment, stating that he has no idea about any such CD.
On the occasion, he said that some day, a Dalit will surely become CM of the State and no one can stop it. He said that when people of minority community among the majority can become CM then why Dalits who are 26 % in the state can’t become CM.
