If the BJP government comes, Muslim reservations will be cancelled in Telangana -Amit Shah

Hyderabad: Union Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that if the BJP forms the government in Telangana, it will abolish reservations for Muslims.
Addressing a rally at Chevella near Hyderabad, Amit Shah called religion-based reservations unconstitutional.
He said that if the party comes to power in Telangana, it will cancel the 4% Muslim quota and give rights to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward communities. “This is the right of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and OBCs,” Amit Shah said.
The Union Home Minister has come under fire from the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, alleging corruption in several schemes. He said that the BJP’s struggle will not stop until the corrupt administration is uprooted.
He alleged that the centre’s welfare measures for Telangana are not reaching the poor.
