ISRO issued an important announcement after the success of Chandrayaan-3

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), which has caught the attention of the world by successfully ‘soft landing’ the Vikram lander on the Moon, announced its next project on Monday.

After the success of Chandrayaan-3, it was announced that ISRO would send the Aditya L-1 spacecraft to study the Sun. Now ISRO has announced the launch date and time of this Aditya project on Twitter.

ISRO tweeted on Monday that it will launch Aditya L-1 on September 2.

It has informed that it will be launched from the Satish Dhawan Launch Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra at 11.50 am that day.

ISRO has also provided an opportunity for spectators to watch the launch live by registering their names on the official website and inviting them to come to the launch site, Sriharikota.

The ‘Aditya-L1’ project will be launched in the first week of September to study the sun and the date will be announced in the next two days, said ISRO President S. Somnath.
