All the league matches of the 17th edition of IPL have already ended and only four important matches are left including the final match to be held for the champion title.

Already, out of 70 league matches, 67 league matches have seen results, while three matches were canceled due to rain. The league matches scheduled between Gujarat-KKR, Lucknow-Gujarat, and KKR-Rajasthan were rained out.

A total of four teams have entered the playoffs after the league matches. If Kolkata Knight Riders have entered as the first team, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have already entered the playoffs as the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th teams respectively.

Sunrisers Hyderabad team will take on KKR in the first qualifier match on Tuesday (May 21). Faf du Plessis-led RCB will play Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator match on Wednesday.

Both the first qualifier match and the eliminator match will be held at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The winners of the first qualifier today (May 21) will advance to the finals, while the losers will get another chance. Fans are looking forward to witness this important match to be held at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.

While the winners of the first qualifier will directly enter the finals, the losers will get another chance. An eliminator match will be played between RCB and Rajasthan Royals tomorrow (May 22) at the same ground. The winners will face the losers of the first qualifier in the second qualifier to be held at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 24.

Is there a fear of rain?
There is no rain on Tuesday when the match will be held in Ahmedabad. During the match, the temperature in Ahmedabad will be between 31 and 37 degrees Celsius. However, the weather department said that there will be dew during the second innings of the match.

No reserve day has been fixed for the first qualifier match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. If the match is canceled due to unexpected rain, the team with the most points in the league stage will enter the finals. That means KKR, who have scored 20 points, will beat the SRH team who has 17 points and will reach the finals.

The 4 teams in the playoffs in 2023 failed to make the playoffs this time!

All 4 teams that entered the playoffs in the 2023 IPL failed to make the playoffs this time. 4 other teams have entered the knockouts.

Last year, Gujarat, Chennai, Lucknow, and Mumbai finished in the top four and made the play-offs. Manisi Chennai of Gujarat was the champion of the final.

This time, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Hyderabad, and RCB have made the playoffs. Out of these, Kolkata has won 2 titles, Rajasthan and Hyderabad have won 1 time each. Although the RCB team has entered the final three times in 2009, 2011, and 2016, they have never won the championship.
