Washington: The American Republican Congressmen started the hearing on the censure motion presented against President Joe Biden.
Sources said that the chairperson of the Parliamentary Oversight and Judiciary Committees has started an inquiry and examined the constitutional and legal questions involved in the impeachment process.
The reprimand was made in relation to President Biden’s association with son Hunter’s business overseas.
“Parliamentarians have ample evidence that Biden abused his power to benefit his family in business”, Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer said.
He also said that the committee will examine financial transactions and evidence related to the allegations against Biden’s son.
