Shaheen Group launched a project to mainstream 10000 Madrasa Students

Bidar: Shaheen Group Institutions has launched a program to connect 10,000 Madrasa students nationwide with modern education. Releasing the poster of this project, Dr. Abdul Qadeer said, We have designed a program to provide mainstream education to 5000 Huffaz plus 5000 Madrasa students in 50 Madrasas across India. Madrasa Plus is an 18-month program specially designed for dropouts or those who have never been to school, wherein these Madrasa students are provided with an opportunity to enter and pass Class X. The project of providing modern education to Huffaz and Madrasa students aims primarily to integrate the Madrasa-educated students into mainstream education. Bridge courses and personalized teaching classes will be held to provide basic education to the madrasa students and to help them acquire the required educational qualifications, he added.
Madrasas are taking an interest in the project to provide quality modern education. Quality residential arrangements and the provision of quality education have been ensured by madrasa management, Dr. Abdul Qadeer added.

He further said, Since 2012, we have been piloting the Hifz Plus program with a small group of students who have never been to school or are dropouts and have seen dramatic success, with most of the students passing class 12 and qualifying for CET or NEET within a span of 3 years. The Hifz Plus program provides Huffaz with an “Academic Intensive Care Unit” (AICU) and aims to bring them back into mainstream education. The project will be aimed at helping Huffaz in the age group of 14–18 be made to enter and pass Class X with the NIOS Board. The registration form for students has also been released on Shaheen’s website, www.shaheengroup.org.

In collaboration with Maulana Azad National Urdu University, we are organizing a campus recruitment drive to hire 500 teachers for this project.
