Lucknow – A 23-year-old student from BBD University in Lucknow lost her life due to a gunshot wound in the early hours of Thursday morning. The tragedy unfolded at Dayal Residency in Lucknow’s Chinhat area, sending shockwaves through the community.
The victim, identified as Nishta Tripathi, was pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and had been visiting Dayal Residency at the invitation of her friend, Aaditya Pathak.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a late-night gathering was taking place at the apartment where the unfortunate incident occurred. Police officers at the scene reported the discovery of alcohol bottles within the premises, suggesting that a party was underway.
