The court today (Dec. 30) rejected the bail application filed by accused Praveen Arun Chowgule in connection with the case of the massacre of four members of the same family in Nejar, Udupi, which was in the news across the country.
Today, Udupi’s Second Additional District and Sessions Court rejected the bail application and passed the order.
The accused Praveen Chowgule, currently in judicial custody, filed an application seeking bail on December 14 through lawyer K.S.N. Rajesh. Public prosecutor Prakash Chandra Shetty had objected to this.
After hearing the arguments, Judge Dinesh Hegde dismissed the bail application of the accused.
