Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of late former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. In his condolence note, he recalled the loss of a humble and dedicated leader who dedicated his life to public service and worked for the betterment of Kerala. He took to Twitter to share the grief of his family and followers and pray for eternal peace.
We have lost a humble and dedicated leader who dedicated his life for public service and worked for the progress of Kerala through the demise of Shri Oommen Chandy. I remember various meetings with him when we both served as Chief Ministers of the state and later when I moved to Delhi. Condolences to his family and followers. May his soul rest in eternal peace’, were the words of the Prime Minister.
