CFI state President Athaullah Punjalkatte presided the talks. Following his opening remarks, CFI National General secretary Ashwan Sadiq P said, “Assassination of Mahatma Gandhi by Godse is not only a thing but there was a huge conspiracy behind this, saying the RSS was the conspirator can not be fallacious.

“In the current scenario blatantly worshipping Godse and defaming Gandhi has become normal. At this time through our struggle for resistance we should fight for the neo secular India which was a dream of Mahatma Gandhi,” Mr. Sadiq added.

Gandhiji was killed by Nathuram Godse in 1948 during his evening prayers in the Birla House. Godse, who was an Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) member, held Gandhiji responsible for India-Pakistan partition which led to the loss of thousands of lives.

Several students, including student leaders participated in the seminar on Sunday.

“We have a great responsibility in preventing and resisting the Godse’s ideology by adopting the simple facile personality of Gandhi”, said journalist Mr. Parvathish Bilidaale.

Bilidaale, who is also the state president of Nave Karnataka was invited as the chief guest in the seminar.
