Bijapur : 02: March : BJP MLA, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal who has been openly giving statements against Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, has now thrown his weight behind senior leader and RDPR Minister K S Eshwarappa who has written letter to Governor Vajubhai Vala against the CM.
Extending support to Eshwarappa, Yatnal told media persons that Yediyurappa is not caring even his senior cabinet Minister such as Eshwarappa.
” Eshwarappa is one who developed the BJP from the grass root and never left the party like me and Yediyurappa. But today those who have not worked for the Party, are running the government “, he said referring to Vijayendra, son of Yediyurappa.
He accused Yediyurappa and son doing all government business without taking any other Ministers into confidence.
” Sitting in Couvery, the official residence of CM, father and son are dealing in all departments. The post of CM is created to work in coordination with other cabinet minister but Yediyurappa is trying to take control of all departments. Karnataka neither has BJP government nor the dream government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, he charged.
He wondered what constitutional post Vijayendra has that he is involving in all government decisions.
Replying to the reported signature campaign to be launched against Eshwarappa by party leaders, Yatnal asked what mistake did he comet that a signature campaign being planned against him.
Referring to the past statements of Eshwarappa where he had called Yatnal insane and had advised him to raise complaints against party not on public platform but in the party platform, Yatnal said now Eshwarappa has gone insane. ” Many will turn insane because of the father son duo in Karnataka. Party and State is getting destroyed because of the family politics of Yediyurappa “, he remarked.
