Bihar Education Minister calls “Manusmriti,” “Ramcharitmanas,” and “Bunch of Thoughts” Books of Hatred

Professor Chandrashekhar, the education minister for Bihar, has caused controversy with one of his statements.

Books of hatred, according to him, include “Manusmriti,” “Ramcharitmanas,” and “Bunch of Thoughts.”

The Education Minister stated, “Manusmriti was burned because several instances of abuse were committed against a marginalised section. Why was Ramcharitmanas met with opposition? It has been noted that those from low-caste groups shouldn’t be allowed to pursue an education.

Babasaheb Ambedkar conveyed a message to the globe by quoting this. These texts—Manusmriti in one period, Ramcharitmanas in another, and Guru Golwalkar’s Bunch of Thoughts in the third—sow animosity. They sow enmity throughout our culture and nation. The country will not become great through hatred but through love.

The Ayodhya saint Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya responded to the comments by calling for the resignation of the education minister.
