Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar teaches lesson of ‘violence’ against farmers movement

Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar made controversial remarks that encouraged violence against the farmers movement while talking at the farmers’ event in the state.

In a controversial video, Manohar Lal Khattar is seen teaching a lessons of ‘violence’ against the farmers. He called upon 1000 volunteers to be deployed from different regions to pick up sticks and fight the “furious farmers”.

He is seen promoting violence by saying that 600- 1000 people with sticks should “treat” farmers, who have been protesting against the Central government’s three agricultural laws, passed in 2020.

“Pick up sticks and give answer to these enraged farmers. We will see everything. They (farmers) should be given tit for tat.”

“If you stay in jail for two-six months, you will become a big leader or politician. Your names will be written in history. Don’t worry about bail,” the Haryana CM Khattar added.
