Karnataka’s former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy challenged PM Narendra Modi to speak about the ‘single window’ system accountable for corruption in Karnataka, which was “hiding behind the chair of Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.”
Senior MLAs of BJP are taking their complaints on the single-window system to the streets and are making allegations of corruption against the family members of Yediyurappa. “Will Modi talk about the single window system of the self-declared great leader in the state ruled by the BJP?” he said.
Kumaraswamy struck Modi over his charges of a single-window system in West Bengal under its Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, which Modi had supposed was to benefit Mamata’s nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee. Mentioning the poll-bound West Bengal when the PM was tending a similar ‘single window’ system in the BJP-ruled Karnataka was a deception.
