Former J&K Governor makes big revelations, says Pulwama a massive government failure and Modi silenced him on Pulwama

In a tell-all shocking, interview with Karan Thapar for The Wire, Modi appointed former J&K Governor, Satyapal Malik blamed the government for the Pulwama attack which killed 40 CRPF jawans. He blamed PM Modi for his indifference towards corruption.

He laid out three major points for the failure of the Indian government in preventing the Pulwama attack. He blamed the Home Ministry, headed then by Mr. Rajnath Singh for not providing five aircrafts asked by the CRPF to airlift their jawans.

Secondly, he pointed towards a security lapse as there was no sanitization of the route through which a 1000 men cantonment of CRPF was passing. According to Satyapal Malik, the route had 8-10 link roads which were unmanned and unguarded for the safe passage of the CRPF jawans.

He said there was massive intelligence failure as nobody could trace or intercept an RDX-filled car travelling in Kashmiri villages for about 10-12 days.

After the attack when Mr. Malik contacted PM Modi and informed him of the lapse by the government in preventing the attack he was told by him to remain silent on the issue. National Security Advisor (NSA) Mr. Ajit Doval also asked him to keep mum on the subject.

Mr. Malik, implied in the interview that the Pulwama attack was used to blame Pakistan to score political points to win the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Mr. Malik also called PM Modi an ill-informed person. He said he finds his information and knowledge of Kashmir of lowly nature.

PM Modi who constantly targets opposition parties like Congress for corruption, Mr. Malik revealed in the interview that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no problem with corruption in the country.
