Before it could recuperate, Bengaluru hit again by rain

Bengaluru was badly affected by rain on Sunday night, flooding the streets once more. The outer ring road is once again suffering from severe waterlogging all over it even before recuperating from the civic threat from the previous week. Police warned residents not to leave their homes on Monday morning unless absolutely essential because heavy traffic was anticipated during working hours.

The HSR layout traffic police urged people on social media to make travel arrangements through alternate routes due to water logging.

The images demonstrate that the Outer Ring Road is once more covered in water, with knee-deep water in numerous locations. Two-wheelers were observed floating in the water close to Marathahalli’s Spice Garden, and waterlogging has been recorded in the Whitefield area twice in the past week.

The Bengaluru airport has also been impacted by the severe rain, in addition to the IT district of the state capital of Karnataka.
