BJP leaders have taken self-respect to the streets: Kharge criticizes viral photo of standing behind a barricade

Photos of BJP leaders standing behind the barricade during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bengaluru are circulating on social media. Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge has reacted to this and criticized the BJP leaders for taking self-esteem and self-respect to the streets.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited the ISRO center in Bengaluru to felicitate the ISRO scientists who worked hard for the Chandrayaan-3 project. At this time, a photo of BJP leaders standing behind the barricade and waving to Modi has gone viral on social media.

Commenting on this on X (Twitter), Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Priyank Kharge tweeted that despite being politically and ideologically opposed, I felt sorry for the plight of BJP leaders. He wrote that it is pathetic that the BJP leaders, who are trying to get attention as barricaded prisoners in front of the Prime Minister, have sacrificed their self-esteem and self-respect.

Is it possible to elect an opposition leader when he is so despised by the high command? Now the BJP itself is a victim of dictatorship. Priyank Kharge criticized the BJP leaders standing on the street not only for insulting themselves, but for the voters who voted, for the Kannadigas and for the workers.
