CM Siddaramaiah Alleges Central Government Interference via Governor’s Notice

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has accused the central government of attempting to destabilize his administration by misusing the Governor’s office. The allegations follow a hasty notice issued by the Governor on the same day a complaint was filed against the Chief Minister.

Siddaramaiah expressed his concerns, stating, “The governor hastily issued a notice on the day a person filed a complaint against me. With the blessings of 7 crore people, with the support of 136 MLAs, at least it should have been scrutinized before the notice was issued to the Chief Minister. But none of this has been done. Looking at this, it is clear that the central government is going to destabilize the Subhadra government by misusing the Raj Bhavan.”

The Chief Minister’s remarks have intensified political tensions in the state, highlighting concerns over the potential misuse of gubernatorial powers for political purposes. The incident underscores the need for transparency and adherence to democratic principles in state governance.
