ED raids houses of Ex Ministers, Baig, Khan in IMA case

Bengaluru: The IMA ponzi case continued to haunt Former Ministers as the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at the premises of Roshan Baig and Zameer Ahmed Khan on Thursday.

The sleuth began the search operation from the houses and office of both leaders in the early morning itself.

Over 40 officials of ED were reportedly participating in the raid.

The IMA case hit the headlines after it was reported that hundreds of members were duped and the money they invested in was taken away illegally.

During the investigation, the name of Baig and Khan surfaced as one of the accused in the case and swindled money from the investors.

It may be noted that the CBI which took up the case, had arrested Baig for allegedly taking share in the money. Biag has continued to face the probe of law enforcement agencies.

The main culprit, Mansoor Khan of IMA was arrested later by police on charges of duping.

The case also dragged several top IPS officers also.
