Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, Rekha Kadiresh, the former BJP Corporator of BBMP was murdered in broad daylight outside her residents on Thursday.
The murder has been reportedly committed by some miscreants who are yet to be nabbed.
The police said that some unknown persons hacked the woman to death using sharp weapons. They immediately left the place after committing the crime. While she was profusely bleeding, she was rushed to the hospital where she died after failing to respond to the treatment.
Interestingly, her husband Kadiresh was also murdered in 2018 itself. The murder is believed to be the result of some old rivalry. The police have constituted a special team to nab the culprits.
