Bengaluru: With the government hinting at lifting the lockdown in the phased manner, Revenue Minister, R. Ashok has announced that the restrictions will be lifted in phased manner based on the conditions.
Informing this to media persons on Wednesday, he said that in the first phase, the government is mulling to allow business establishments to remain open till 12 noon.
The government may also give permission for people to have morning walks in gardens and parks. “ All these permissions are subject to the permission of the Chief Minister”, he said.
Informing that the Chief Minister, B. S. Yediyurappa would be convening a video conference with the Deputy Commissioner’s of the State on Thursday, he said that during the meeting he will review the status before taking any final call on lifting of restrictions after June 14.
It may be noted that after the lockdown extended till June 14, Karnataka is witnessing gradual decline in the Covid cases.
The government is now mulling over lifting restrictions gradually based on the Covid pandemic in the State.
It has been hinted by the government that more restrictions would be lifted in the districts that have Covid positivity rates of 5% and below.
