Bengaluru: The Karnataka Directorate of Minorities has announced an incentive program for students from minority communities pursuing B.Sc Nursing and GNM Nursing courses for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible students can apply online for the incentive, with the application deadline set for November 10, 2024.
To qualify, students must belong to Karnataka and be from minority communities, including Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, or Parsi. Additionally, their annual family income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakhs, and the courses must be pursued full-time.
Selection will be based on merit, subject to the availability of funds. Students must reapply each academic year for the incentive. Applications can be submitted through the Seva Sindhu portal; Aadhaar-linked bank accounts are mandatory.
