Mysore: The road where Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in the city was cleared and cleaned on Sunday.
“During Dussehra, a road show has desecrated the royal road leading to Ambari. As royals and devotees of Chamundeshwari, we are deeply hurt by this incident”, said Kansale Ravi, a resident of Vidyaranyapuram in the city who led the cleaning work.
“Modi has been misguided, and the holy path has been used for other purposes. He said that he respects him and believes that he will seek forgiveness from his mother, Chamundeshwari.
Police stopped the cleaning work, which started from KR Circle near Doddaspatra Circle on Sayajirao Road.
In connection with the incident, a case of creating a public disturbance has been registered against three persons at the Devaraj Police Station.
