Road repaired prior to PM Modi’s visit caves in Bengaluru

About Rs 23 cr were spent by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike to repair the roads that Prime Minister Narender to spruce Modi was passing through during his recent visit to Bengaluru. But one part of the road caved in, just a couple of days later and in other stretches, the tar was peeling off, The News Minute reported.

The BBMP has refuses to take responsibility for the shoddy work and blamed the rains and flooding for the road caving in.
The News Minute reported that it had visited the site and found that repair work was taking place.

Three engineers were held responsible for repairing the road and a show cause notice was issued to them by the BBMP.

Karnataka High Court asked if the PM or the President has to visit Bengaluru in order for the roads to be fixed, TNM reported.
