Kejriwal slams allegations against Manish Sisodia

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal responded to sensational accusations of corruption and patronage of the liquor mafia made against his deputy Manish Sisodia by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena today, saying the accusations are “completely baseless.”

Kejriwal said that Mr. Sisodia was making a lot of effort to improve Delhi’s educational system and that the Centre was attempting to stop him because he was receiving plaudits and electoral support for it.

Mr. Kejriwal also stated that he has known Mr. Sisodia for 22 years and that he is a “hardcore honest” man in an online press briefing. he said, “I learned that the CBI has been given a case against Manish Sisodia and would be arresting him soon. The case is entirely fictitious. There is absolutely no truth to this at all.”

Mr. Kejriwal directed his fury on the Centre, accusing them of framing Aam Aadmi Party leaders in fabricated cases to prevent them from functioning.
