Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge has accused the BJP of making Madhya Pradesh a laboratory for Dalit atrocities.
Kharge complained that the cases of atrocities against Dalits are increasing in Madhya Pradesh under BJP rule. He has posted about this on social media X and said that BJP is certain to lose in the next assembly in the state.
“A Dalit youth was assaulted and murdered in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. The goons have not spared the young man’s mother either. BJP has made Madhya Pradesh a laboratory for dalit atrocities. “In BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh, the crime rate against Dalits is three times the national average,” he said.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is saying that he will build a Sant Ravidas temple in Sagar, is not talking about the continuous violence against Dalits and Adivasis in Madhya Pradesh,” he said.
Kharge also lashed out at Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan, accusing him of “trying to hide his crime by washing the feet of the backward in front of the camera”.
“The people of Madhya Pradesh will not fall into BJP’s trap, in a few months the plight of the oppressed sections of the society will get a befitting answer,” Kharge said.
