BJP will try to create riots in Madhya Pradesh like what happened in Nuh: Digvijaya Singh

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has hit out at the BJP, alleging that the BJP is planning to incite “communal riots” in Madhya Pradesh ahead of the assembly elections, like the violence in Haryana’s Nuh.

Addressing a gathering of lawyers in Bhopal, Singh said that the way these people caused communal riots in Haryana’s Nuh, they are trying to incite riots in Madhya Pradesh too.

Singh said that BJP is planning to create riots in Madhya Pradesh because BJP’s defeat in the next Vidhan Sabha is certain.

He said that BJP knows that there is a lot of resentment against the government of Shivraj Singh Chauhan in the state. We will form the next government in the state by achieving victory in the next election.

At least six people, including two home guards, a mosque imam, were killed in clashes in Haryana’s Nuh earlier this month.

Clashes started after the Vishwa Hindu Parishad march and later spread to Gurugram, Palwal and other districts of Haryana. Several vehicles and shops were set on fire by the mob.
